1. About PINATI LTD

PINATI LTD is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17254408. The registered office is 82a James Carter Road, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England, IP28 7DE. 2. Services

PINATI LTD provides intelligence, investigation, due diligence, asset tracing, address verification, personal public information review, risk assessment, corporate/director/fraud investigation support, process serving support, custody/location confirmation support, probate/estate intelligence support, network analysis and reporting services.

The exact scope, fee, deliverable and intended purpose of each instruction will be agreed in writing before work begins. PINATI LTD may decline work where the proposed instruction is unsuitable, unclear, disproportionate or outside the services offered.

3. Process Serving Support

Where PINATI LTD provides process serving support, that support is limited to intelligence, address context, service-readiness review, evidence support and coordination assistance. PINATI LTD does not act as an instructed process server and does not provide legal advice.

4. Lawful and proportionate instructions

PINATI LTD will only accept instructions that appear lawful, proportionate and suitable for the nature of the work requested.

PINATI LTD may refuse, pause or stop work where an instruction appears improper, unlawful, unsafe, misleading, disproportionate, intended for harassment, unlawful tracing, intimidation, improper contact, unlawful surveillance, misuse of personal information, or any purpose inconsistent with professional standards.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate instructions and for confirming that they have a lawful basis for requesting the work. PINATI LTD may request further information, identification, authority, proof of instruction or supporting material before accepting or continuing an assignment.

5. Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate instructions, disclose relevant context, identify any restrictions or risks and confirm that they have authority and lawful basis for the request. The client must not provide false, misleading or unlawfully obtained material.

The client is responsible for reviewing draft scope, proposal terms, factual instructions and any assumptions before work begins. Where information supplied by the client is incomplete or inaccurate, findings and deliverables may be affected.

6. Fees, deposits and payment

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, PINATI LTD requires payment of 50% of the initially agreed professional fee before any work is undertaken.

The initial professional fee does not include paid intelligence retrieval, third-party register fees, registry documents, database access fees, overseas retrieval costs, local agent fees, translation costs, certification costs, legalisation costs, court or official copy fees, or other external disbursements. Those costs are payable separately where required and may need to be paid in advance before the relevant retrieval, request or instruction is made.

PINATI LTD will not be required to begin work until the initial payment has cleared. Where further work, extended review, additional enquiries or paid retrieval is required, PINATI LTD may pause work until the additional fee or disbursement has been agreed and paid.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, reports, findings, summaries, evidence schedules or other deliverables will not be released until final payment has been received in cleared funds.

Payment of an initial fee does not guarantee a particular outcome, finding, recovery, confirmation or result. PINATI LTD provides intelligence, review, verification and reporting services based on the information available, the scope agreed and the lawful sources capable of being reviewed.

7. Personal Public Information Review

For any Personal Public Information Review, the client must provide a signed instruction confirming that they are requesting a review of information relating to themselves, or that they have proper authority to instruct on behalf of the person concerned.

PINATI LTD may require suitable proof of identity and, where applicable, proof of authority before accepting or starting the instruction. Work will not begin until PINATI LTD is satisfied that the instruction is genuine, lawful and proportionate.

Where the client is a consumer and the instruction is placed online, by email, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, the client may have a 14-day cancellation period. PINATI LTD will not start work during that period unless the client expressly requests early commencement.

If the client asks PINATI LTD to begin work during the 14-day cancellation period, the client acknowledges that charges may become payable for work carried out before cancellation and that cancellation rights may be affected once the service has been fully performed.

8. Reports and limitations

Reports are based on available sources, supplied material and agreed scope at the time of review. PINATI LTD does not guarantee that all information exists, is accessible, is current, or can be verified. Findings may identify evidence gaps, confidence limitations and unresolved issues.

Reports and deliverables distinguish, where practical, between supported facts, indicators, reasonable inference, limitations and recommended next steps. They are not legal advice and should not be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified legal professional where legal interpretation or court use is required.

9. Confidentiality and data protection

PINATI LTD will handle client material discreetly and will process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Further information is set out in the Privacy Notice.

10. Use of deliverables

Reports and deliverables are supplied for the client and agreed purpose only. They must not be altered, misrepresented, published or relied upon by third parties without written permission from PINATI LTD.

11. Liability

PINATI LTD does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and by the agreed scope, fee and nature of the instruction.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless agreed otherwise in writing.
